I met mandolinist and songwriter Mic Patrick at the Mike Block String Camp down in Florida a few years back. We swapped songs and he ended up covering “Rocky Mountain Skies” in the Brisbane-based bluegrass band The Company. They released it on their second album, Trouble, and brought both their version and our Cricket version onto Australia’s Radio National’s program The Inside Sleeve.
